How your payout is calculated
No monthly fee, no listing fee, and nothing to pay up front. TicketSync earns on tickets that actually sell — a 3% commission on your ticket sales, and a R5 booking fee per ticket that the buyer pays at checkout.

How it works
Buyers pay at checkout
The ticket price you set, plus a R5 booking fee per ticket. The booking fee is added on top of your price — it is what the buyer pays TicketSync, not something taken out of your earnings.
Commission comes off after the event

Nothing is deducted while tickets are still selling, so the sales figures on your dashboard are your gross ticket revenue throughout.
You are paid within 3 days
Once the event has taken place and your verification is complete, the balance is transferred to the bank account on your organizer profile.
Good to know
- Commission excludes VAT
- The 3% is quoted excluding VAT. Where VAT applies it is charged in addition, and shown separately on your statement.
- Verification has to be complete first
- You can create an event and sell tickets before verifying, but a payout cannot be released until your documents and banking details have been approved. Starting that early is the single best way to avoid a delay after your event. Start verification.
- Refunds
- A refunded ticket is removed from your sales, so no commission is charged on it. See the Purchase Policy for when refunds apply.
